After graduating from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2000), Scott spent three years as a Junior Civil Engineer for a Chester County engineering firm. He had previously served as an engineering intern for PennDOT and acted as an inspector on the Route 202 resurfacing project.

From 2004 to 2015, Scott transitioned to a Professional Cycling career; his list of completed races include the Tour de Bouce, the Vuelta Cyclista del Uruguay, the US Pro Team Time Trial as well as the World Team Time Trial Championship.  

​

After hanging up the bike on his professional cycling career, Scott now resides full-time in Chester County, PA with his wife and rescue dog.  Still enjoying cycling as a recreational sport, he also coaches a local high school cycling team.
